CHOO CHOO! All Aboard! Off to Churchill Manitoba folks.

It’s Alex and Clarice here bringing you our first couple days of our journey Far North. So, it’s been a looooong trek up to the cold brisk north. And by long we mean, we just got here today (Thursday August 5th) and we left on Tuesday August 3rd. Wow so two whole days pretty much spent on a plane, a train, and an automobile. However, those forty-six hours we spent travelling (mostly on the train) have been a fabulous way to get to know the eco zones in Manitoba and our peers- who we would now like to think we can call friends. So let us start with the scenery:

flat..................................................................................................

It was pretty much like that forever, well at least until we hit the Boreal Forest where we encountered endless coniferous trees. So because endless trees get a little boring after awhile we had a (what felt like endless) train assignment package. We’re sure it’s safe to say everyone had mostly completed it by lunch on the second day so that they could spend more time eating, playing cards, oh and the ultimate goal....getting SLEEP. If you ever have to sleep on a chair for two nights, we decided to provide you some not-so-good tips about sleeping in a chair. Here are our five worst sleeping positions figured out through trial and error (LOTS of error).

1. The Lean To

2. The Bat

3. Two’s Too Many

4. Chair-less

5. Drool Master
